PALFINGER is a world-leading group in hydraulic lifting solutions for trucks worldwide. We manufacture, market, sell and service truck-mounted cranes, timber cranes, hookloaders, tail lifts and a number of other lifting products. Our customers mainly operate within various segments of the trucking industry (haulage companies, timber transport, recycling, etc.), but we also have customers within the marine, railway and OEM sectors. Job Responsibilities

Are you an ambitious salesperson ready for a new challenge? We are looking for a driven individual who is not afraid of change and enjoys taking on challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for our customers in the Southeast Region, which involves extensive networking at different levels—from end customers and drivers to bodybuilders and truck sales representatives.

Initially, you will be responsible for the sales of timber cranes, truck-mounted cranes, and hookloaders, but additional products and areas of responsibility may be added over time. You will become a natural point of contact for inquiries, orders, and sales—from the initial idea to final implementation.

To support you, we have an excellent organization that provides a strong start. Our backbone consists of a broad range of high-quality products, a service network, and competent staff—from technical support to order management. Your toolkit includes a company car, phone, and sales tools (CRM, configurator, and technical portal). You are comfortable visiting customers and spending a significant part of your working time on the phone, and you work proactively with both existing and potential customers. In addition to day trips within the region, we estimate approximately 30–40 travel days/hotel nights per year, including participation in customer trips, trade fairs, training sessions, and similar activities.

The role involves a high degree of independent responsibility for your region, but you will also be a key player in the Swedish sales team consisting of 12 people. The sales team is spread across the country, but we meet frequently and learn from one another. Your base should be somewhere in Småland, with the ability to reach Norrköping, Västervik, Karlskrona, Ljungby, and Jönköping within a day trip. Depending on your location, we will agree on the best solution for an office workspace.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.• A passion for sales, technology, and trucks or a related field.• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, good communication and collaboration skills.• Experience with customer relations and negotiation.• Good social competence, self-driven and results-oriented.
