Join PALFINGER as our Production Manager leading manufacturing operations at the Council Bluffs, IA, facility. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end production functions to support profitable growth and operational excellence. This role drives strategic planning while prioritizing safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery across multiple manufacturing disciplines. The position reports to the Senior Operations Manager and plays a key leadership role in advancing continuous improvement and employer-of-choice initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

Lead long-, mid-, and short-term operational planning in partnership with the Council Bluffs leadership team
Directly manage operations leaders across fabrication, welding, coatings, assembly, logistics, service parts, engineering, and facilities
Drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery performance across all manufacturing areas
Oversee operational budgets, financial performance, and efficiency improvements
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including waste elimination through Lean and PPS methodologies

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; MBA a plus
7–10 years of operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven Lean enterprise implementation experience across multiple improvement tools and methodologies
Strong financial analysis experience; ERP/SAP experience preferred
Ability to travel domestically with occasional international travel
