Your Responsibilities

  • Perform service, testing, commissioning, and annual/5-year inspections on lifeboats, davits, winches, and Palfinger cranes worldwide.
  • Diagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems using OEM parts and specifications.
  • Conduct Safe Job Analyses and complete accurate service documentation, reports, and required paperwork.
  • Communicate clearly with the Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and customers regarding job progress and findings.
  • Test and verify equipment performance after service or repair to ensure safety, compliance, and operational integrity.

Your Qualifications

  • Technical background with hands-on experience in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Marine or offshore industry experience preferred, with exposure to cranes or life-saving equipment.
  • Prior experience in service engineering, maintenance, or field service roles.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Physically fit, safety-focused, and willing to travel globally as required, including working at heights and lifting heavy equipment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation.
  • Retirement Plan.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and short- and long-term disability (depending upon state). Wellness program offered.
