To strengthen our Health, Safety & Environment team at our Köstendorf site, we are looking for a Plant Safety Manager (f/m/d) to join us as soon as possible. In this role, you will actively support management and employees in all matters related to occupational safety, health protection and fire safety, making a significant contribution to the continuous development of a sustainable safety culture at the site.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the implementation and compliance with all applicable national occupational health, safety and fire protection regulations
  • Introducing, maintaining and continuously improving the HSE management system, including ISO 45001, and implementing the annual HSE action plan
  • Planning, conducting and supporting internal and external audits as well as inspections by authorities, including documentation and follow-up of actions
  • Analyzing occupational accidents and near-miss incidents, reporting relevant KPIs (e.g. TRIR) and deriving preventive measures
  • Advising managers and employees, conducting safety trainings and coordinating occupational safety for external companies

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed and recognized qualification as a Safety Specialist / Safety Engineer and certification as Fire Protection Officer
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the manufacturing or processing industry, with strong knowledge of occupational safety and fire protection legislation
  • Experience with management systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and in conducting occupational safety and fire protection audits
  • Very good German and good English skills (minimum B2), combined with strong communication and presentation abilities
  • A structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working

We offer a competitive, performance-based salary that is determined by your qualifications and professional experience and may be significantly higher than the minimum wage set by the collective bargaining agreement for this position (the minimum wage under the collective bargaining agreement, based on full-time employment, is EUR 60 962,30 gross per year).
