Palfinger is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations at the Oklahoma City facility operating as Equipment Technology Inc. (ETI). This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance through inspections, measurements, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting a strong culture of safety, accuracy, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach to quality assurance.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and CMM equipment when required.
- Review drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation to verify product conformity and identify non-conforming materials or processes.
- Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to maintain quality standards, implement approved procedures, and support production goals.
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with 5–7 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of inspection processes, quality standards, and precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Proven attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Experience supporting corrective action processes, troubleshooting quality concerns, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
