Are you technically skilled, service-oriented, and ready for a new challenge in a global company known for innovative lifting solutions? PALFINGER Marine is looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Dägeling, Germany. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing marine equipment both in our workshop and occasionally on-site around the world.

Your Responsibilities

  • Overhaul, disassemble, and assemble cranes, winches, and davit systems in the workshop and occasionally on ships.
  • Conduct installations, commissioning, inspections, and testing of marine equipment.
  • Create service and inspection reports, and support project coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and perform Safe Job Analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Coordinator to meet service goals.

Your Qualifications

  • Technical education (e.g., mechatronics, mechanical engineering, hydraulics, or similar).
  • Experience in marine/offshore service engineering and hydraulic systems will be considered as advantage
  • Experience in technical field, workshop, industrial engineering etc. 
  • Independent, proactive, and team-oriented with English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for service missions.
