The Aftersales Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and driving aftersales revenue streams across the APAC region. The role focuses on enhancing service profitability, implementing service business models, and supporting the Director in achieving strategic revenue and customer satisfaction goals in alignment with PALFINGER’s global service standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement aftersales revenue models including service contracts, spare parts, extended warranty, and other value-added services. Support and drive internal & external Partners to actively service their installed base (crane population)
- Prepare and monitor aftersales budgets, analyze and proactively drive partner performance, manage receivables and monitor margin & EBT performance. Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track revenue, service profitability, and customer satisfaction across the region.
- Support both internal and external partners in achieving aftersales revenue targets, ensure process alignment with corporate service standards, and drive cross-country/cross-regional best practices.
- Collaborate on SAP/service system integration projects, streamline service workflows, and enhance data accuracy for decision-making.
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Finance teams to identify new revenue opportunities, and support product launches with service packages.
- Ensure adherence to group policies, local regulations, and audit requirements
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in AfterSales or business development within the crane, construction machinery, or heavy equipment industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing revenue growth strategies.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
- Experience in multinational environments and cross-border coordination.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Chinese or another Asian language is an advantage.
