The Continuous Improvement Agent plays a key role in supporting operational excellence on the production floor by driving Lean initiatives, identifying process inefficiencies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This position partners closely with production leadership and team members to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency through hands-on engagement and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating sustainable improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support daily Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, standardized work, Kaizen activities, and waste reduction efforts across the production floor.
  • Conduct shop floor audits, maintain visual management systems, and assist with workplace organization to improve operational efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with production teams and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Assist with root cause analysis investigations and support corrective actions to improve quality, productivity, and workflow performance.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, production tracking tools, and continuous improvement reports using Microsoft Office and related systems.

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across production teams and leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Visio or process mapping tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail and problem-solving focus.
