The Continuous Improvement Agent plays a key role in supporting operational excellence on the production floor by driving Lean initiatives, identifying process inefficiencies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This position partners closely with production leadership and team members to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency through hands-on engagement and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating sustainable improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities

Support daily Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, standardized work, Kaizen activities, and waste reduction efforts across the production floor.
Conduct shop floor audits, maintain visual management systems, and assist with workplace organization to improve operational efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with production teams and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
Assist with root cause analysis investigations and support corrective actions to improve quality, productivity, and workflow performance.
Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, production tracking tools, and continuous improvement reports using Microsoft Office and related systems.

Your Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; previous manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across production teams and leadership.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Visio or process mapping tools is a plus.
Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail and problem-solving focus.
