Join PALFINGER as a Materials Management Administrator (Spare Parts) to facilitate inventory data management, procurement and vendor data for the PALFINGER North America Team at our Niagara Falls, ON location. If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, apply today!
Your Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate vendors for sourcing parts and materials; create and maintain accurate supporting documentation and establish selling prices based on vendor purchase pricing.
- Create and maintain part numbers and ensure accurate bill of materials (BOM) alignment to final product requirements, including creating product orders for stock kits.
- Monitor and maintain goods receipts vs. inventory reports for finance, resolving discrepancies and correcting material invoicing or receiving errors.
- Create non-inventory purchase orders, manage transfers between facilities, and adjust material inventory levels as required to support operations.
- Manage parts within the SAP inventory management system, including creating, updating, and removing items, while partnering with receiving to resolve inbound material issues and coordinate vendor replacements or credits.
Your Qualifications
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) years’ experience in vendor management or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of material setup and management within an inventory management system, preferably SAP.
- Customer service mindset to provide the best available solutions in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with ability to utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, plus knowledge of SAP preferred.
