PALFINGER is seeking a motivated Project Manager- Quality, to support quality management initiatives and cross-functional projects within the North American region. This role will focus on maintaining and improving GPMS systems, coordinating audits and compliance efforts, and driving quality-focused projects that support operational excellence across the organization. This person must be based in either: Council Bluffs, IA; Trenton, NJ; Chicago, IL; or Oklahoma City, OK.

Your Tasks

  • Manage and maintain GPMS documentation, ensuring processes, manuals, and guidelines remain current and aligned with regulatory and ISO standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor internal and external audits, including preparation of reports, corrective action plans, and recertification readiness.
  • Lead cross-functional quality and implementation projects, coordinating project plans, deliverables, timelines, and reporting.
  • Develop and track quality KPIs and management reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and leadership reviews.
  • Facilitate employee training and awareness programs related to quality, environmental, and occupational safety standards.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, business administration, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within manufacturing, quality systems, or a multinational organization.
  • Knowledge of quality management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, with experience supporting audits.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and systems, including ERP platforms and tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, Power Automate, or SharePoint (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
