Our Service Engineers ensure reliable operation and high availability of PALFINGER equipment by providing technical expertiseininstallation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. They support customers and service partners with efficient diagnosticsandsolutions, contributing to high service quality and customer satisfaction. Through their technical knowledge and close collaborationwithinternal teams, they help maintain PALFINGER’s performance and reputation in the field.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform service, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and inspections on lifeboats, davits, cranes, and related equipmentonboard vessels and offshore installations
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, adjust, and overhaul complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems
  • Prepare service jobs by ensuring availability of spare parts, drawings, procedures, and all required technical documentationprior to attendance
  • Prepare detailed service reports and provide accurate communication regarding service progress to Service Coordinators,Project Managers, and customers
  • Perform Safe Job Analysis and work in accordance with company strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy, Code of Conduct, andapplicable laws and regulations

Your qualification

  • Broad technical background in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, drive technology, and control engineering
  • Several years of relevant service experience, preferably within the maritime and offshore industry
  • Proven experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work independently in demanding environments
  • Good command of English and proficiency in MS Office applications; willingness to travel and perform physical offshore workas required
